SPIDER VEIN, ROSACEA, & AGE SPOT ERASING
We're going to take very good care of you.
Information is power. So here's a a little background on the Spider Vein & Age Spot Erasing at Smooth Skin Centers.
How does Spider Vein, Rosacea, & Age Spot erasing work?
Spider vein and Rosacea erasing is a combination of the pulse duration, how hot the laser is, and the beam size. We zap the veins, and they disappear right before our eyes. The laser blows up the color in the vein. The vein returns about 30 seconds later, a little bruised and swollen. And age spots get targeted and destroyed in the same way. Veins and spots are usually gone with just a couple of treatments!
What will your treatment
be like?
Typically, nasal veins and facial veins take about 10 minutes to treat, while leg veins can very in length of time to treat. Because of the efficiency and speed of the laser and the laser tech, an inch of vein typically takes about 10 seconds to treat. We have found that most people prefer 10 - 15 minutes for vein erasing. Age spots can be done in 10 minutes. It feels like a rubber band snap. But don't worry - if it hurts, we have a topic numbing cream we can use.
What can you expect
after your treatment?
After a vein treatment you will have some bruising and swelling. We recommend that you bring support hose, lycra pants, or pantyhose to wear after a leg vein treatment, which you’ll want to wear for a minimum of 3 days following the treatment. The more compressed and the longer you can keep the treated veins while they are healing, the quicker they will heal. And after an age spot treatment, you'll be scabby. Post-treatment aftercare instructions are found here.
