About MOXI

  • MOXI is a nonablative fractional laser treatment that penetrates the top layers of the skin to help improve the tone and texture of your skin, correct initial signs of sun damage, and discoloration and uneven skin complexion.

  • Moxi delivers fractionated laser energy to create micro-coagulation zones which the body then repairs, replacing damaged cells with fresh new ones. Moxi is designed to provide tonal and textural improvements to your face with low downtime, resulting in skin renewal

  • It is safe for all skin types and can do be done year round to keep your skin looking rejuvenated! It is one of the few laser treatments safe for patients with Melasma

  • What to expect during your treatment? It is a fast and easy treatment with minimal downtime

  • On the day of your treatment, we will have you come in about 1 hour prior and a topical numbing cream will be applied to your skin. The numbing cream will be removed after about 30-45 minutes, the skin will be cleaned and prepped and the treatment will begin.

  • Your skin will feel warm and slightly pink after treatment, like a sunburn, for a few hours after treatment.

What should I expect after the treatment

  • There is little to no downtime following your treatment. Your skin may be red and this can last for 1-3 days. But you can apply makeup 24 hours after your treatment if you want. As the redness fades, you will likley start to see MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) which are tiny almost coffee ground like dots that will eventually shed off the skin. It is important to follow your post-care instructions and apply sunscreen daily and avoid sun exposure as your skin continues to heal.
