Treatment time is much quicker than most lasers and the number of treatments is typically fewer because of the incredible power and precision of the three different wavelengths found in this beauty. How does laser tattoo removal work?
Touted as the best at removing the most colors with the least amount of healing time, the ATV’s laser delivers laser light into the skin in very short bursts of energy that fragments the ink; the body’s natural process then eliminates the dispersed ink particles. Since laser light is monochromatic, different wavelengths are required to treat different tattoo colors. We’re in luck...the ATV has 3 different wavelengths!.
What will your treatment
be like?
An Oreo cookie-sized tattoo can take as little as 10 minutes to treat. Larger tattoos may take 30 minutes or more. Before we start, our technician will review your history and answer all your questions. We’ll clean the area to be treated and ensure there is no hair present. We’ll calibrate the laser based on your skin type. Then you and the technician will don the appropriate safety goggles. Let the lightwork begin!
What can you expect
after your treatment?
The treated area usually swells and may also have some pinpoint bleeding and/or blisters. The technician will dress your tattoo with appropriate salves and bandages. You should keep the treated tattoo away from any sun exposure while it is healing. We also recommend that you keep the area clean, dry, and bandaged while they are healing. Preparing for your Laser Tattoo Removal treatment.

Do shave the area to be treated the day before your laser treatment. There will be an additional charge if we need to shave you.

Avoid being in the sun without sunscreen on the area(s) you’re having treated for 10 days prior to your treatment. This includes sunless tanning products, tanning beds, and spray tanning.

Do not use prescribed Retin A or get a chemical peel, facial, injectable, or other laser treatment on the area(s) to be treated for 7 days prior to your treatment.

We do not perform laser treatments on pregnant women.

If you have used Accutane in the past, you must have been off this product for at least six months prior to the treatment. If you currently take any prescribed acne medication, you’ll need to get your doctor’s permission.

Print and complete the Client Information and Medical History, the Laser Treatment Consent, and the Missed Appointment forms found here, and bring them with you to your appointment.

Your appointment will be confirmed via email reminder and text message from our office. Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time and be prepared to begin the treatment.
